can anyone save becky?
This is the story of a 30-year old woman named Becky who has had the worst year that anyone could imagine. She needs all the inspirational words you can give her to help get her through this horrible time in her life…
Car Accident
Blood Clot…Then a Stroke
Medically Necessary Pregnancy Termintation
The Love of My Life Passes Away
Lost My Job
Any one of these things happening to someone in a lifetime might be traumatic, but all 5 things happened to me in a period of a year (give or take a week). In addition to this, over the past 10 years, I have gotten into $50,000 in Credit Card Debt.
When I originally made this site in February 2009, I was asking for donations to help pay off my credit card debt. I want to make it clear to all that I am not destitute. I have a good-paying joband a place to live, with my parents, I just made some bad financial decisions in my life and a horrible year. What came of this site instead of donations, were tons of kind e-mails from people in similar financial situations that couldn’t donate, but instead sent me inspirational words. These words have been helping me more than money ever could. I will pay off my debt the right way, the way I had been before any of these things happened to me. I have taken the link down for donations. It was never my intention to “profit” off of Harry’s death or anything that happened to me this year, as I was accused of by many. I sincerely apologize to anyone who thought this.
“If there’s anything I can do to help, let me know.”
I have heard this statement more in the past year then I have ever heard in my life. And when people say this, usually you don’t think to actually ask. There IS something you can do to help me. Please e-mail me your similar stories or words of inspiration, they are helping me get through this horrible year, more than any money can.
