As I write this the air is already cooler and the summer of 2009 is becoming a memory. The fall is creeping upon us and the children of Long Island are getting ready for school. So what does SpotonLI have in store this fall you ask? Well, from our humble beginnings 2 months ago we are blossoming into this amazing interview magazine for Long Islanders.
This season we will meet an American Idol finalist, a ‘budding’ dancer with all the right moves and one hell of a Chef. That’s right we interviewed Chef Heather West, winner of Hell’s Kitchen Season 2! She is the Executive Chef of Monterey in Long Beach.
Teanna will be dishing out more delectable’s and might even join me for an interview or two meeting some of Long Island’s Best Chefs. The Showbiz Wizard Mick Du Russell will be out and about meeting more rock and roll Gods and The Bonehead Review will keep us laughing. If you haven’t realized yet Bonehead is my husband and is pictured in this photo. What a fine pompadour he once had!
So as the weather gets cooler don’t forget to curl up next to a nice fire and read the next edition of Spot On Long Island!

Christine, beautifully done blog/site. I really enjoyed reading this months posts. You are going to go far, I can see your not afraid of work. Keep that smile going and know I will be back to read more good stuff happening on the island. One slight critique, the older I get the harder it is to see. Just thought you might want to know it is pretty hard to see this font when the size is so small. Would make it much easier if the font was larger, just my two little cents
