KADAWATHA Touring the US on 2010 Honda Civic Tour
This Friday, August 6th, KADAWATHA will be performing at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater. KADAWATHA is set to introduce themselves to the U.S. in a big way, joining world-renowned acts Paramore, New Found Glory and Tegan and Sara on one of the hottest tours of the summer—the 2010 Honda Civic Tour. The tour kicked off July 23 in Raleigh, NC and will visit 31 U.S. cities and one Canadian city.
KADAWATHA will also be releasing a three song EP along the way. This EP will be available at tour dates, with the lead single, “Agape,” available for download on iTunes, Amazon and more. KADAWATHA is built around the 23 year old Sri Lankian, Daniel Kadawatha. He formed KADAWATHA in the winter of 2008 as a solo project. His hard work paid off and Daniel got a management deal and a publishing deal in the spring of 2008. In the fall of the same year, Andreas Edstršm and Jacob Milton joined the band, later followed by Andreas Pihlgren and Arvid Persson.
KADAWATHA is a band–but it’s Daniel’s music, thoughts and stories. Passionate performances and heartfelt songwriting has built KADAWATHA to what it is today – and it’s most definitely something magical.
With all of the aforementioned pieces in play, KADAWATHA is sure to make an impact in the music industry this summer.
