CELEBRATES THE RELEASE OF HIS LATEST ALBUM
‘EVERYTHING ANYHOW’ AT N.Y.’S THE FISHERY JULY 26
After a stream of success with song placements in film and television, N.Y. based singer/songwriter Freddy Monday will celebrate the release of his latest album Everything Anyhow with a special album release show at popular hotspot The Fishery on July 26. For the intimate 7 p.m. show, Monday will be joined onstage by a 7-piece band featuring members of Sorethumb, including Rick “Noodles” Horvath, John Snow, Johnny Dolenz, Rick James Brown, Darro “Sparkie” Sandler and Rob Cutts.
Although his full-length 12-track album is mostly self-produced, Monday also worked with Grammy award-winning producer and engineer Steven Rinkoff (Jim Steinman, Celine Dion, Meat Loaf) and multi-platinum engineer Paul Umbach (Jive Records, Matt White). The LP’s first single, “Please,” is a country-flavored pop song co-written with Snow.
As true to the title of his new album, Monday has accomplished quite a bit in his career—touring the East Coast, performing at the Nassau Coliseum and licensing many of his songs for film and television. Songs from his debut album Words in Pencil have been heard on Lifetime’s “Side Order of Life,” CBS’ “The Young and The Restless” and “Moonlight,” TNT’s “Dark Blue,” and “Burn Notice” on USA.
Monday also co-wrote the title track to the Sunset Pictures Film “Born To Ride,” due July 24, with Vincent Alfieri from Deetown Entertainment. Alfieri and Deetown have been huge in the film soundtrack world, with songs penned for blockbusters like the “Transformers” movies, “Alvin and the Chipmunks” and “Iron Man.”
